This workshop is for those who already use Excel and are comfortable with its basic functions.

This is a 2 days course. Staff can choose one of the following sessions:

- 1st session: March 11 - 12
- 2nd session: March 26 - 27

What you must know before the course

At the end of the workshop, you will be able to:
• Handle several work books and create formulas between them 
• Build advanced formulas using some of the most useful build-in functions 
• Use VLOOKUP+MATCH – functions when you want to look up values in big data lists
• Handle formulas which return errors
• Use conditional formatting as a tool to highlight desired key figures or figures that meet your criteria
• Create an overview of, and make calculations on long lists, ex. using functions such as Subtotals, SUMIFS
• Create and manage PivotTables.

  • Use the Excel formatting features
  • Know calculation operators and calculation rules
  • Build your own formulas
  • Use the basic build-in functions - ex. Autosum, Statistical functions and Logical functions (the If function)
  • How to use relative or absolute cell references in formulas – using $-signs
  • Using names in formulas
  • Creating, managing and entering data in multiple sheets
  • How to create and edit different chart types based on your data
  • Creating lists - sorting lists - filtering data
  • Creating tables and using tables styles.
