This course is designed for participants to learn about the CDC approach, learn about the CDC implementation processes in various countries in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC), and discover how this approach can help strengthen the different services that serve children and their caregivers.

The course is organized in two parts. The first part describes the conceptual bases of the CDC, which offer guidance to families in parenting practices in the context of the Model of Integral Care. The second part describes the CDC's recommendations for the development of children under the age of three.

If you work in areas related to health, nutrition, education, gender, water and sanitation, social protection, monitoring and evaluation, among others, we recommend that you take this course and learn the basic principles of the CDC approach.
