Power Query is a data connection technology that enables you to discover, connect, combine, and refine data sources to meet your analysis needs. Power Query is one of three data analysis tools available in Excel: Power Pivot, Power Query and Power View. Features in Power Query are also available in Power BI Desktop.
Note: Power Query is known as Get & Transform in Excel 2016.
