Welcome to this online training on fraud awareness!
Remember that as a Face-to-Face Fundraiser, you play a key role in delivering UNICEF’s Mission. You also play a critical role in safeguarding organizational resources.
This course was created for all UNICEF Face-to-Face fundraisers to:
- Raise awareness of fraudulent practices.
- Reinforce your understanding of fraud and its negative impact on UNICEF’s activities and operations.
Learning objectives
- Define what fraud is
- Identify different types of conduct that would be classified as fraud at UNICEF
- Explain why do people commit fraud
Audience
This course is a requirement for front line face to face fundraisers working on behalf of UNICEF speaking to members of the public face to face in an authorized location to solicit funds. This includes:
- Door to door fundraisers
- Business to business fundraisers
- Street fundraisers
Event fundraisers
- Fundraisers working in private locations or through petitioning or two-step activity
