GenderPro is an initiative created to meet the demand in UNICEF and other gender and development organizations for professionals with robust applied gender skills and technical programming knowledge. This resource pack is intended as a supplementary resource for Gender Focal Points as they work through this programme. It will complement the online courses and webinars to help them fulfill their role within UNICEF.

Audience
This resource pack is essential to Gender Focal Points currently involved in the GenderPro Programme and is recommended to all Gender Focal Points and programme staff at CO, RO and HQ levels who would like to know more about gender integration in UNICEF programming. The resource pack is also an opportunity for all staff members to get familiar with UNICEF’s Gender Action Plan (GAP) and gender approach.

It should take you about 8 hours to read through and familiarize yourself with these documents.
Methodology
This learning package is a curated compilation of select resources from UNICEF that work as a supplementary resource to the rest of the GenderPro Programme and includes: the Gender Action Plan, the Annual Report on the Implementation of the Gender Action Plan and Gender-Responsive Water, Sanitation and Hygiene: Key Elements for Effective WASH Programming.
