Learning objectives

At the end of this module, you will gain basic understanding and skills in M&E concepts, M&E plans, frameworks, indicators and data sources, collection and use.

Audience

This module is suitable to G5, G6, G7, NOA and NOB staff in the MENA Region.

Length

It should take you about 4-6 hours to complete this module.

Methodology

This Essential Skills Programme models a typical “blended distance learning programme”. Although there will be a workshop element, most of the learning is undertaken at a distance from the organisational hub (in this case the Regional Office). It involves a large component of self-study in the workplace.  

In each module, a variety of learning methodologies are used such as:

  • Self study (Reading, E-courses, Video)

  • Distance coaching (Webinars, Discussions, Email)

  • Workplace application (Learning by doing, Action Learning Project)
  • Face to face (Workshop, Mentoring, Supervision)
