Audience

This activity is essential to the Gender Pro for Gender Focal Points program and is recommended to all UNICEF Gender Focal Points and programme staff at CO, RO and HQ levels who would like to know more about gender-responsive monitoring and evaluation.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this course, you will:

  •  Strengthen your understanding of gender and M&E and how it is important in programming.
  • Be able to develop gender-responsive monitoring systems.
  • Know how to formulate gender-sensitive indicators and results.
  • Know how to monitor and report on the Gender Action Plan (GAP), and how to source UNICEF data, M&E processes, and tools

Length

It should take about 90 minutes to go through the modules and answer the quizzes.

Structure

This learning activity has 3 parts and a final assessment. Each part includes a video presentation followed by a short quiz. To complete the course, you are required to pass the final assessment at 80%.
