Staff members are responsible for submitting their leave requests in a timely and accurate manner, and to ensure that the HR/Attendance Focal Point in the office is aware of any missing or incorrect entries. 

In turn, each office (i.e., Regional, Country, HQ locations, and Divisions) is responsible and accountable for any issues in Time and Attendance.

This module provides all staff and HR practitioners with key resources to correctly submit and process requests related to Time and Attendance. 

Learning objectives

By the end of this module, you will be able to:

  • Submit a request for annual, sick, home, or special leave for yourself or on behalf of staff members in your office 
  • Apply entitlements for specific types of leave 
  • Define the different types of flexible working arrangements available
  • Understand the processes governing Overtime (OT) and Compensatory Time off (CTO)
  • Locate relevant Time & Attendance policies on the intranet 
  • Create quota corrections (HR Officers, Assistants and Subject Matter Experts ONLY)

Audience

This course is suitable for all staff of any level of seniority, and is particularly indicated for those responsible for recording time and attendance for colleagues in the organisation, including, but not limited to, HR Assistants, HR Officers, Attendance Focal Points, and HR Subject Matter Experts.
