About the course
This course provides information about food assistance minimum standards, the design and distribution of food rations, and linkages between food and livelihood assistance.
Learning objectives
By the end of this course, you should be able to:
- Describe food assistance objectives, tools, and response options
- Define the Sphere Minimum Standards for food assistance
- Discuss the use of data in the design of food assistance programmes
- Describe how food and livelihood assistance are complementary
- Describe the basic design of food rations
- Explain the components of food assistance monitoring
Audience
- UNICEF staff (country offices, regional offices, and HQ)
- UNICEF partners, including government, civil society, and the private sector
Length
It takes about 35 minutes to complete the course.
