About the course
This course describes the principles, issues and interventions required to support the nutrition of older people in emergencies.
Learning objectives
By the end of this course, you should be able to:
- Describe the risk factors encountered by older people in emergencies
- List the relevant standards that guide responses to their needs and rights in emergencies
- Identify preparedness activities for nutrition programming
- Explain methods of assessment and assessment criteria for older people
- Identify appropriate nutrition and livelihood support programming and transition strategies

- UNICEF staff (country offices, regional offices, and HQ)
- UNICEF partners, including government, civil society, and the private sector
Length
It takes about 35 minutes to complete the course.
