About the course

This course defines the double-burden of malnutrition and its causes.

Learning objectives

By the end of this course, you should be able to:

  • Discuss the state of the double-burden of malnutrition – what it is, who is impacted, its prevalence and severity 
  • Discuss the importance of addressing the double-burden of malnutrition in emergencies
  • List potential double duty actions to include in programmes to prevent malnutrition 

Audience

  • UNICEF staff (country offices, regional offices, and HQ)
  • UNICEF partners, including government, civil society, and the private sector

Length

It takes about 25 minutes to complete the course.
