About the course
The PSB Workflow Tool is an automated workflow integrated with Vision and built in Service Gateway platform. The Tool is created to replace the manual and paper-based process which makes it easier for offices to create a PSB case, submit for PSB Committee recommendation and Head of Office approval. This course describes the principles and processes of PSB case review and submission for PSB meeting by staff with the role of PSB Secretariat.
Learning objectives
- Assign a PSB case to a specific PSB Secretariat
- Review a PSB case and edit the initial analysis submitted by PSB Submitter
- Remove one or number of AMRs from the submission
- Group Inventory cases in on PSB submission
- Select PSB members and PSB Chairperson to review the case / submission
- Submit for PSB meeting discussion
- Document the PSB minutes and indicate PSB recommendation for each AMR
- Submit for PSB Committee Sign-off
- Use the PSB menu in the navigator panel in Service Gateway
Length
It should take approximately 60 minutes to complete the course.
Methodology
This course is designed for personnel to learn about the PSB Tool. Inside the module, learners will learn about PSB Tool functionalities, roles and responsibilities of the PSB Secretariat. New concepts will be reinforced through instructional strategies such as quizzes.

The course is composed of Two modules and their related quizzes:- PSB Workflow Tool
- PSB Secretariat: Review and submission for PSB meeting
The course includes Demo videos of the PSB Tool how to:
- Review a PSB case and submit for PSB meeting
- Submit a PSB case for PSB Committee sign-off
