About this event

Digitally enabled health interventions to support equitable COVID-19 vaccine deployments: Microplanning, monitoring, tracking and communication

As vaccines are arriving in countries many Governments are looking for digital platforms that can be rapidly deployed to schedule vaccine appointments, plan vaccine distribution, monitor vaccine coverage, and communicate to individuals to generate demand and send appointment reminders. UNICEF, with our great network of country, regional and HQ colleagues with digital health and T4D skills, is well placed to support such digital platforms. In this 1.5hr webinar we will:

  • Inform on best practices, resources and technical assistance available to leverage digital health for planning, monitoring, tracking and communicating on COVID-19 vaccines and PHC more broadly
  • Understand how digital solutions can be used beyond the COVID-19 vaccine deployment
  • Provide a deep dive into the support available for digital microplanning for equitable access and distribution of COVID-19 Vaccines
  • Provide guidance to Country Offices on the compilation of the rapid survey for country needs and preparedness assessment for digital microplanning.
