A key stage in the Humanitarian Programme Cycle is the development of a Humanitarian Response Plan. A nutrition cluster response plan is informed by a prior Humanitarian Needs Overview (HNO) for nutrition and forms the basis for the nutrition cluster’s contribution to the over-arching Humanitarian Response Plan (HRP).

Learning objectives

By the end of this module, you will be able to:

  • Describe how to develop a nutrition cluster response plan in collaboration with nutrition cluster partners,
  • Explain how the nutrition cluster response plan contributes to the overarching HRP,
  • Explain how to translate a nutrition cluster response plan into a nutrition cluster workplan.

This module is an intermediary-level course aimed at anyone who is interested in furthering their skills and knowledge in nutrition information management and cluster coordination in humanitarian contexts, and who needs to coordinate and collaborate with humanitarian architecture on this topic.
