In addition to financial resource mobilisation, the nutrition cluster is also instrumental in coordinating the mobilisation of nutrition supplies for humanitarian contexts. Procurement of supplies and equipment can sometimes be overlooked in the broader resource mobilisation process. However, robust supply chains are an essential component of nutrition in emergency programming and can often be a limiting factor to the successful implementation and scale-up of an emergency nutrition response.
