We are pleased to invite you to the first roll-out of the ICTD Induction in our new Digital Core in Valencia.  

This is a one-and-a-half day induction to ICTD work and we are prioritizing all externally hired staff and colleagues who joined ICTD form another UNICEF office. 

We are pleased to also have the  Regional Chiefs of ICT to present the regional perspective.

Learning objectives

At the end of this training you will be able to:

  1. Provide an overview of ICTD, its strategic objectives and the ICT function at the regional and country office level.
  2. Promote integration and networking of new staff into ICTD.

Audience

All externally hired staff and colleagues who joined ICTD from another UNICEF office.

Length

The duration of the training is 1.5 days; (10 Hours).

Methodology

The ICTD Orientation Programme will be mainly delivered face-to-face. All staff based in Valencia are invited to attend in person. Virtual participation is reserved for presenters and staff who need to join from another location.

The training will be delivered through:

  • A high-level overview of the scope and highlights
  • Joint presentation by Section Heads and Team leads, BRMs and Regional Chiefs
  • Conversational and participatory
