The purpose of this training is to provide a clear understanding of what Inter-cluster/sector collaboration (ICSC) is, how to develop it along the humanitarian program cycle and its importance to better address the multiple needs of a population.

The modules take you through the steps of the humanitarian program cycle by exploring each step with an inter-cluster/ sector collaboration lens – from a coordination perspective to a more technical one. To make you feel comfortable initiating the first steps and then develop some ICSC projects at country level, case studies are shared, with Nutrition, WASH, Health, and Food Security at the heart of these examples.

You will also become familiar with the ICSC tools that are available to help you and your cluster/sector increase your comfort to engage and work more closely with other clusters / sectors to respond to a crisis.

These modules have been jointly developed by the Nutrition, WASH, Food security and Health clusters, who are at the core development of this collaboration. But note that the ICSC process describes along the 6 modules can be used by the any other clusters.
