UPSHIFT is a social innovator accelerator for young people aged 10-24 years that rapidly unlocks their generational potential to create real and tangible change in their lives and their communities. We use Human-Centered Design to build on young people’s passions and turn them into action and achievement by developing professional and transferable skills through experimental learning practices.
Learning objectives
At the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Understand the steps to adapt UPSHIFT to the country office objectives.
Understand the main concepts of UPSHIFT programming relating to planning, partnerships, programming choices, content variations and the UPSHIFT ecosystem.
Understand the process of delivering UPSHIFT and be able to apply it to your country's context.

The target audience for this course is the UNICEF personnel (Staff, consultants, ...)
Length
It should take you approximately 1.5 hours to complete this course.
Methodology
This self-paced course comprises two modules: "Building Your Program" and "Delivering UPSHIFT." Each module addresses crucial aspects of adapting and implementing UPSHIFT to meet your country office requirements. Following each module, a brief quiz prompts learners to reflect on their understanding of the material.
