This site is the home site for Part 2 of the Rights and Results Programming learning programme. This part is an in-person training, which will be organized by the Country Office, with support from the Regional Office and DAPM.
This page provides detailed information about Part 2. However, please note that training sign-ups are not available here. Participants of previous Part 2 workshops can download their attendance certificate from this page. Standard presentations can also be accessed from here, so this site can also be useful for facilitators of Part 2 workshops.
Learning objectives
To provide all UNICEF programme and senior operations staff with key elements to better understand, country programme planning processes, strategies and approaches.
Audience
This training is recommended for all UNICEF staff, and it is mandatory for all programme and senior operations staff in Country Offices (CO) that are developing a new Country Programme (CP), as it provides in-depth and critical knowledge of UNICEF programming and planning processes and systems.
Length
Part 2 of the RRP course is composed of six distinctive modules that take an average of 3 – 3.5 days to complete in person.
Methodology
This face-to-face-based content incorporates videos, case studies, and interactive elements to cater to different learning styles and preferences.
The course includes a variety of interactive learning activities such as quizzes, to encourage active participation and foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills. It also presents examples and scenarios to contextualize concepts and facilitate deeper understanding and application.Structure
Part 2 is composed of six modules:

- Module 2.1: Data
- Module 2.2: Evidence synthesis
- Module 2.3: Prioritization
- Module 2.4: Theory of Change
- Module 2.5: Results and Resources Plan
Certificate
Participants will be awarded a course certificate upon completion of the training and Part 1, which is a pre-condition to participate in the Part 2 training.
