This micro-course is designed to deepen understanding of Programme Criticality and its practical application within organizational operations. Comprising three key sections, the course first introduces participants to the concept of Programme Criticality, explaining its significance and how it can be effectively utilized. The second section guides participants through the eight steps of the Programme Criticality assessment process, providing detailed insights into each phase. Finally, the course features a 10-minute video that demonstrates how Programme Criticality integrates with the Security Risk Management (SRM) to assess and determine acceptable levels of risk.

At the end of this course you will be able to:
- Refresh Existing Knowledge: Reinforce foundational understanding of the Programme Criticality framework among participants familiar with the subject.
- Introduce New Learners: Provide a comprehensive introduction to the essence of the Programme Criticality framework for new users.
- Understand the 8-Step Review: Explain the 8-step review process within the Programme Criticality framework, detailing each step's purpose and implementation.
- Understand how a PCA is reviewed in an SMT.

It should take you about 75 minutes to complete this self-paced course.
Methodology
This course is composed of an introduction, three short self-paced modules, and a final section testing the newly acquired knowledge. The modules go over specific topics and give examples where appropriate. There is a short video providing more information on how to balance a PCA against an SRM.
