This module provides humanitarian coordinators, and humanitarian coordination groups/platforms with practical guidance and tools to integrate climate considerations into humanitarian coordination work. Specifically, it guides coordinators on applying the Guidance on the Climate Crisis and Humanitarian Coordination across preparedness, response and recovery efforts. Participants will explore key concepts and the growing impact of climate-related hazards on vulnerable populations and learn how to apply the guidance in their daily coordination work.
The module includes practical tools, real practical case studies and interactive knowledge checks to support preparing, planning, implementing and adapting coordination strategies by integrating climate considerations.
