This program is designed for new hires (staff and consultants) interested in learning about UNICEF before the start of their contract. It is also open to any applicants and anyone interested to learn more about UNICEF and its work. 

You will have access to a number of courses that all personnel must complete when taking an assignment with UNICEF, focusing on ethics, standards of conduct, security and safety.

You will also learn about programming principles and processes and get to know some of the work areas and strategies of UNICEF.

Learning objectives

The key learning objective of the UNICEF for Beginners course is to equip you with the knowledge and tools to help you make the most of the first few months on the job and set you up for success as you begin your career as part of UNICEF's 12,000 staff members across the globe.
