An animation that welcomes Learners to the the Rights and Results Programming (RRP) for Every Child Learning Programme. The animation shows the different modules of the three big parts of the Learning Programme, and uses the DNA metaphor for the Learning Programme, as it teaches about materials so crucial to understand UNICEF as is the DNA for human body.

Welcome to the Landing Page of Parts 1, 2 and 3 of the Rights and Results Programming (RRP) for Every Child learning programme!

This learning programme expands on and replaces the former Rights and Results Based Management (RRBM) training designed in 2020-21 to update the old RBM training with the latest UNICEF and UN programming policies, guidelines, and resources. The major shift of RRBM was the integration of two programming approaches: Results Based Management (RBM) and Human Rights Based Approach (HRBAP). This integration is maintained and reinforced in this new training.

This programme connects the global ambition of the Strategic Plan with localized application in the Country Programme, reinforcing the Child Rights agenda at every step of the programme management cycle, and further bridging the gap between Humanitarian and Development programming.

Given the extensive breadth and depth of its content, this learning programme has been nicknamed the 'DNA of UNICEF,' as it embodies the fundamental values, culture, and operational principles that define the organization at its core. Just like DNA contains the genetic instructions for the development and function of a living being, the learning programme is seen as a key element in transmitting the organization's identity, mission, and approach to those who participate.

In essence, the ‘RRP for Every Child’ learning programme is designed to:

  • Instil core values and ethosIt teaches participants what UNICEF stands for and how it operates.
  • Shape behaviour and mindsetIt helps align with the organization’s mission, ensuring consistency in thought, approach, and execution.
  • Create a shared understandingIt fosters a unified perspective on what drives the organization and how its objectives should be pursued.
