After completing this short course, you will be able to:
- Explain the purpose, key features, and steps required to develop the HNRP.
- Describe the overall resource mobilization processes, sources and mechanisms of humanitarian funding.
- Explain how to develop partners' capacity to mobilize resources.
- Describe the purpose and steps for tracking the response.
- Describe how to develop a response monitoring framework and overcome common challenges.
- Describe the purposes and features of 3/4/5 W and how to use them effectively.
Hearing
This short course is aimed at anyone wishing to deepen their knowledge of the humanitarian programme cycle and the processes that make it up. It will be particularly useful for those working in humanitarian coordination and information management, as well as those who need to interact with coordination structures within the humanitarian architecture.
Duration
The short course will take you about 4 hours to complete. You don't have to complete all the modules at once: your progress will be saved throughout the short course.
Methodology
This course consists of six short modules that you can complete at your own pace. You can take a pre-course test to assess your knowledge of the topics covered, as well as a final assessment. If you pass the final assessment, you will earn a certificate. If you have already taken the module included in a short course, it will be marked as complete and you will not have to do it again.
