Overview

The ASPIRE Programme aims to strengthen people skills, and individual and role effectiveness. It has been designed to help staff live and demonstrate UNICEF's Core Values at work and it will focus on: 
  • enhancing emotional intelligence through self-awareness and self-management
  • improving role effectiveness through influencing and collaborating with partners and performing at work
  • developing people skills to support effective management, motivation and coaching of colleagues

Target Audience

  • Current supervisors at GS6 to NOB/P2 level
  • Current supervisors who have fewer than 2 direct reports
  • Staff aspiring to become supervisors or new to supervisory roles
  • Staff in non-supervisory roles GS4/NOA/P1 to P4 levels

Programme Structure

Blended Learning:

6 live webinars:
  • 90 minutes each
  • delivered 2-3 weeks apart
  • interactive with breakout rooms for smaller group discussions
Learners will have assignments between the live sessions, all with an overarching theme related to the Values, to be reported on at the following session. 
A 3-day soft skills workshop
