About the course
In order to initiative "Maternity Hospital Friendly to Mothers and Children" has expanded throughout the Croatia, UNICEF concluded that for the implementation of this initiative it is important to to educate health and non-health professionals about the content, methods of implementation and realization of the initiative "Maternity Hospital - Friend of Mothers and Children", and their role in the whole process.
It has just been The main objective of this e-course is to educate staff, and the aim of the training is to implement principles of the initiative "Maternity Hospital - Friend of Mothers and Children" in health care establishment.

This course aims to get to know participants with the criteria for the implementation of the initiative "Maternity Hospital - Mother's Friend" and children", while the aim of the course is not to provide knowledge related to professional issues in the field of obstetrics, gynecology, neonatology, breastfeeding, Communication and other medical and non-medical areas mentioned in the implementation of the initiative.
The main objectives of this course are instructing healthcare professionals in dealing with patients in a way that respects their human dignity at every opportunity, while ensuring adequate open and empathetic communication and the greatest possible respect for the wishes and desires of the patients and their families.
Target group
Target educational group for implementation of the initiative "Maternity Hospital - A Friend of Mothers and Children" medical and non-medical staff of the clinic or department of gynecology and obstetrics, which participates in the care of pregnant women, mothers and midwives. Staff should have a basic knowledge of the initiative after the course as well as specific knowledge related to their scope of work.

Methodology
The course consists of 14 modules and It's completely interactive. Modules include graphics, videos, quizzes and other interactive elements. You can attend the modules at your own pace, when It also suits you via any device (computer, tablet or mobile phone). The system will remember where you left off and you can continue when you return. It is necessary attend each module and solve a short questionnaire at the end of the module in order to He thought it was finished and finished.
