The Nutrition Humanitarian Needs Analysis Guidance was devised to be used in conjunction with an accompanying spreadsheet Calculation tool. This tool follows a similar breakdown, starting with considerations for the development of an annual assessment plan with an indicator registry and core indicators to consider for the nutrition situation analysis, a series of tabs for the nutrition situation analysis with certain specificities depending on the scenario of the country context (namely Scenario 2 where under-five GAM is above or equal to 5% or Scenario 3, with GAM under-five is under 5%), and automatic PiN calculations once key demographic information is provided.
