This course will help you to develop the basic knowledge and skills to strengthen national capacity to lead a nutrition response. You will be introduced to different examples of national nutrition coordination from different contexts and explore how to work through them. You will also explore ways to strengthen national partner’s involvement in the cluster and how to coordinate capacity-building amongst nutrition actors.

- Outline how the nutrition cluster coordination team can work through, and support, existing coordination platforms
- Discuss possible constraints and solutions to enhancing local and national actors’ participation, coordination and decision-making
- Identify ways to promote coherence of capacity-building activities within the nutrition cluster

It is part of the recommended learning path for sub-national nutrition cluster coordinators aiming to progress to national-level roles.
