Structure
The orientation comprises the following three learning modules (follow each link to enrol in the module of interest to you):
Module 1: Maximising Growth in Private Sector Fundraising
Focuses on how to maximise growth in PSFR through the five core fundraising channels (Pledge, Corporate, Legacies, Major Donors, Foundations), as well as through Digital media and Emergency fundraising, Communication and Marketing and optimal investments. The Module also includes the Top10 good practices for each fundraising channel.
Module 2: Engagement with Business
Provides an overview of UNICEF’s approach to engaging with business, including advancing the child rights agenda and mobilising resources. It also includes due diligence and legal considerations for setting up corporate partnerships.
Module 3: Management of Private Sector Fundraising in a Country Office
[only targeted to UNICEF staff]
Provides an overview of how to manage PSFR in a UNICEF country office, with the main focus on financial management, including monitoring and reporting on fundraising performance.
Target Audience and Recommended Participation
This online orientation mainly targets UNICEF staff new to PSFR and Partnerships in UNICEF, particularly in Country Offices (COs) [1] with already established structured engagement in PSFR. Any other staff, as well as colleagues from National Committees, who are interested to learn more about PSFR and partnerships, may also use this orientation.

All modules are accessible to UNICEF and NatCom staff, except Module 3, which is specifically targeted to UNICEF staff.
Participation is on a voluntary basis. Participants may choose to complete individual modules and chapters according to interest, preference and available time. It is also possible to start a chapter or quiz and complete it at a later time.
