The e-learning course on combating human trafficking in humanitarian situations equips learners with the comprehensive knowledge and practical skills needed to address human trafficking in crisis contexts.
The course consists of 15 modules and covers vital areas such as the UN Protocol on Trafficking in Persons, trafficking mechanisms, and anti-trafficking approaches tailored to humanitarian situations. It explores the roles and responsibilities of humanitarian workers, the integration of anti-trafficking activities within group coordination, and specialized content for protection officers and data collectors. Additional areas of focus include trafficking in children, multisectoral approaches, referral pathways, mental health and psychosocial support for victims, and the role of the media in combating trafficking in persons.
Designed specifically for humanitarian professionals, this course combines theoretical ideas with practical tools, including data collection and research methods, to promote effective responses to the challenges of human trafficking.

- Understand the basic concepts: Explain the United Nations Protocol on Trafficking in Persons and its mechanisms, with a focus on the humanitarian situation.
- Applying anti-trafficking approaches: Identifying and implementing standardized and contextual strategies to combat human trafficking, tailored to humanitarian crises.
